CHECK THE MAP BELOW.

HEAD TO
The Falcon
Situated on Buntingford's historic High Street, The Falcon is a Michelin recommended restaurant from Chef Kieren Steinborn-Busse and one of our favourite spots in the area.
You can expect Modern British food, using local and seasonal produce.
TEE OFF AT
East Herts Golf Club
Located in the grounds of the Hamels Park Estate, East Herts Golf Club was founded in 1899 and is recognised as one of the best courses in Hertfordshire. The 18 hole, Par 71, 6440 yard course is laid out between numerous varieties of trees planted in the late 18th century and is an easy walking course. The course provides a good test of golf for the low and medium handicapper.

CHECK OUT
The Sword Inn Hand
The Sword Inn Hand is a charming 14th-century free house located in the picturesque village of Westmill. The inn boasts views of the 13th-century Church of St. Mary the Virgin and the surrounding open countryside.
It offers a traditional British experience with seasonal local food and traditional ales.
EXPLORE
Hertford
The county town of Hertford is a quaint place to explore on foot or bike.
You can take a stroll along the New River, the waterway built to supply London with fresh drinking water, which extends for nearly 30 miles.
There is also an abundance of bridle ways and country lanes running in every direction from the town and robust choices to enjoy a pint to cool off.

TRY OUT
The Fox & Hounds
Nestled in the historic village of Barley, The Fox & Hounds combines casual, family-friendly charm with delightful British cuisine that has earned Michelin Guide recognition for three consecutive years. We absolutely love their delicious seasonal food that showcases local produce, from Cromer crab to rare breed meats. A great reflection of British food, done very well.
SPEND TIME IN
Cambridge
Just 35 minutes away, Cambridge blends historic charm with modern vibes. From exploring iconic colleges, to wandering through cobbled streets, or taking a punt on the River Cam there are various ways to make the most of what Cambridge has to offer. Enjoy vibrant coffee bars, cocktail spots, and diverse eateries, especially along Mill Road. A perfect mix of beauty and culture awaits.

VISIT
Hatfield House
Hatfield House is a 223-room Jacobean estate built by the first Earl of Salisbury, Robert Cecil, in 1611.
While history buffs may visit to see the place where her legendary reign began, movie buffs may also recognise some distinct architectural details.
No fewer than 69 television shows and movies have used the property, from Batman, to V For Vendetta; or period dramas such as The Favourite or The Kings Speech.
